Camping Policies
We strive to create a fun, safe, and family oriented lake camping environment for all of our members and their guest. For this reason, we have implemented the following camping policies that all members and their guests are required to adhere to while camping at our amazing resort. Thank you for helping us keep our lakes safe!
- REMEMBER TO RESPECT OUR OTHER MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS.
- As we are a members only resort, camping reservations are reserved for current members and their guests ONLY.
- Member Camping is by reservation ONLY.
- Members MUST check in at the office PRIOR to going to your reserved campsite.
- Guests accompanying members while camping must sign waivers and pay guest fees prior to camping.
- Members are allowed a maximum of 4 guests per tent while camping.
- All campsite reservation fees are required at the time of reservation.
- Fees: Member Campsite Fee - Premium sites $50.00 per night (includes bundle of wood, picnic table and smores), Standard sites $30.00 per campsite per night (includes bundle of wood). Guests Campsite Fee - $15.00 per guest per campsite or $50 per night (up to 4 persons) PLUS daily guest fees for all days.
- Members may be accompanied by guests while camping for an additional fee (PLUS daily guest fees for all days).
- Cancellations must be made more than 48 hours prior to reserved date for a member credit or fees will be forfeited.
- Campsite Check in 3p and Departures 11a unless no other reservations. Arrivals/Departures outside normal business hours must notify our office prior to reserved date and get approval.
- There is no entry or exit privileges outside of resort hours without prior approval.
- All RVs. trailers, campers, etc. must arrive and check in at the office during office hours.
- Generators may be operated between the hours of 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM ONLY.
- Glass containers of any kind are PROHIBITED. Please help keep yourselves and other members safe by using only paper and plastic.
- Campfires are permitted in designated areas and within fire-rings ONLY.
- ONLY wood is to be burned in the fire pits. 1 bundle of wood will be provided for all campsites, additional wood can purchased through the resort for $10.00 per bundle. Staff will stock your fire pit. Outside wood is not permitted.
- BBQs are permitted in designated areas ONLY. BBQs MUST be propane ONLY.
- NO running, diving, or flips are allowed on the dock.
- NO boisterous or “rough play” is allowed on the property.
- Pedal boats, kayaks, SUP boards, and paddles must be checked out by an adult.
- Everyone MUST wear bike helmets while riding bicycles on the property.
- NO glass of any kind is permitted on the property.
- DOGS: NO dogs allowed on the main beach, main lawn, inside the Barefoot Bar & Bistro or on the Barefoot Bar & Bistro patio, on the doc, or in other common areas. Dogs MUST be kept on a leash at all times. You MUST clean up after your pets using the dog waste receptacles located on the trails or trash cans provided for disposal.
- BBQ’s (propane ONLY) are allowed only at member campsites while camping.
- Fires MUST be made in designated fire pits ONLY (wind permitting).
- For your safety, there is absolutely NO swimming, paddle boarding, pedal boating, kayaking, use of floaties, or boats allowed in the lake after dusk. During the day, please try to enter the lake at the beaches and minimize entry at the campsites.
- In order to remain respectful toward our fellow members and campers, loud noises are prohibited after 10:00 PM.
- Bathrooms are open for use while camping. Please respect the facilities and help to keep them clean for the other members and campers.
- AFTER HOURS: there is no swimming, boating, etc. allowed in the lakes or river. This includes members who are camping overnight.
- Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests and making sure that they adhere to all lake, camping and property rules while they are on the property.
- Any guest not adhering to the rules will be asked to leave.
- ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED. Non-compliance will result in confiscation and/or termination of camping/guest privileges. Alcohol and other beverages may be purchased from our bar during business hours.
- Pets are allowed and MUST remain on a leash at all times.
- Upon departure, campsites must be left clean and all garbage is to be disposed of in proper waste collection containers.
