Resort Rules
We strive to create a fun, safe, and family oriented lake environment for all of our members and their guest. For this reason, we have implemented the following resort rules that all members and their guests are required to adhere to when visiting our amazing resort. Thank you for helping us keep our lakes safe!
- NO lifeguard on duty. Members and their guests will swim at their own risk.
- A parent or guardian MUST be present when children are in the lake.
- Swimmers must enter lake on the beaches ONLY.
- Children under 7-years-old MUST wear a US Coast Guard approved floatation device at all times in the water.
- Children under 18-years-old MUST wear a US Coast Guard approved floatation device while outside of the swim buoys. PERMITTED.
- Anyone operating kayaks, pedal boats, SUP boards, any other watercraft or while tubing MUST wear a US Coast Guard approved floatation device.
- Children 10 years old and under MUST be accompanied by an adult while operating any watercraft.
- NO Swimming or diving under dock, rafts, or floatation platforms.
- NO running, diving, or flips are allowed on the dock.
- NO boisterous or “rough play” is allowed on the property.
- Pedal boats, kayaks, SUP boards, and paddles must be checked out by an adult.
- Everyone MUST wear bike helmets while riding bicycles on the property.
- NO glass of any kind is permitted on the property.
- DOGS: NO dogs allowed on the main beach, main lawn, inside the Barefoot Bar & Bistro or on the Barefoot Bar & Bistro patio, on the doc, or in other common areas. Dogs MUST be kept on a leash at all times. You MUST clean up after your pets using the dog waste receptacles located on the trails or trash cans provided for disposal.
- BBQ’s (propane ONLY) are allowed only at member campsites while camping.
- Fires MUST be made in designated fire pits ONLY (wind permitting).
- Return all boats, floats, sand toys, life jackets, chairs, umbrellas, etc. back to the proper location when finished.
- AFTER HOURS: there is no swimming, boating, etc. allowed in the lakes or river. This includes members who are camping overnight.
- Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests and making sure that they adhere to all the lake and property rules while they are here.
- Any guest not adhering to the rules will be asked to leave.
- ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED.
